Bognor Regis Music Club meeting at the Concert Room, 2, Sudley Road, Bognor Regis at 7.30 pm on some Saturday evenings. They have an excellent programme for this season with a number of well-known names.

 

The Regis School of Music - The School, run by the husband and wife team of Sasha and Nina Levtov, has for may years been presenting recitals by renowned international artists at 46, Sudley Road, Bognor Regis.

 

Funtington Music Group - subscription recitals are on Wednesdays in the Chapel, Bishop Otter Campus, University of Chichester.

In this musical posy of pieces entitled “Flora, Fauna & Feasting” and chosen to delight and entertain, enjoy Medieval and Renaissance songs, music and instrumental pieces depicting rural life and country pursuits as well as courtly love songs and musical descriptions of great banquets. With colourful costumes and an extensive range of instruments the musicians will take you back to the sounds of the 15th and 16th centuries.

Featuring Recorders, Hole Pipes, Lute, Rebec, Viols, Harp, Tabor, Douçaine, Cornetto, Shawm, Sackbut, Crumhorns, & Voices
The Programme includes pieces by von Reuental, de Castro, Byrd, Morley, Weelkes, Ravenscroft, des Prés, Campion, Penet, East, da Nola/Richafort, D’Estrees, de Muset, Binchois, Vaillant, Jannequin, Lando/Todino, and the prolific composer “Anon”
